The Disability Resource Center of Milwaukee County provides Information and Assistance regarding services for Adults with Disabilities ages 18-59. DRC staff members assist individuals to plan for long-term and short-term needs, access community services and resources, and learn about benefits that may be available.  The DRC should be your first stop for help with government services.  It is located in the Coggs Center at 1220 W. Vliet.

Milwaukee County Transit System

Milwaukee County has one of the best bus systems in the country.  It costs $2.25 to ride the bus in cash and just $2 on your MCard. Download their apps onto your phone for directions and to see what time the bus is coming!  Ride MCTS and MCTS Tracker https://www.ridemcts.com/

Social Security Questions

Independence First provides many services to students and adults with disabilities. These services include advocacy, benefits counseling, independent living skills training, and youth leadership programs.  They are also a great neighbor of Bradley Tech, located a few blocks away on 1st St, and bring their student groups and lessons to our building every year.

Owen's Place is a free drop-in resource center for young adults aged 16-24 years old. Owen's Place assists young adults in learning new skills that empower them as they strive for independence.
